What data do courts need now to manage caseloads? And what is needed to evolve available data? To stay on top of surging cases and adapt business processes, courts are transforming their management of data. One way is through dashboards: graphical reports that provide accessible and more immediate information on how courts are processing cases, and where delays are accumulating. Over the last four months, U.S. and international courts have participated in a series of workshops to develop data visualizations that are more engaging, responsive to business processes and provide actionable data. This final workshop of the series will share courts’ experiences, successes and challenges in data visualization, availability, quality and transformation.
