Live Virtual Courses

In May 2020, ICM entered new territory by offering its first “live” online course for ICM certification using the Zoom platform.  The Public Relations course, part of the Certified Court Executive series, was well received.  The course format featured live presentations by ICM National Faculty, combined with numerous opportunities for interaction – breakout groups, polling, chat messaging, and discussions.

Here’s what one participant said about their experience:

I LOVED the Zoom video conferencing format. I've taken course in person and online, and this was my favorite method. It was very interactive, and I didn't have to be away from the office for a complete week (including travel) and spend thousands of dollars to attend a course (airline tickets, hotel, and tuition). This was a great way for ICM classes to be attainable. The classes are so useful to me as a court administrator. I have always taken something out of every class and applied it in my daily work.

Virtual National Programs will continue to be offered throughout 2021 and beyond to provide professional development opportunities in a safe, convenient and affordable format.
