CTC 2023 to deliver valuable in-person education, networking opportunities

June 7, 2023 -- If you had the good fortune to attend NCSC’s 2022 eCourts conference in Las Vegas, you know that in-person meetings have returned with a bang. In less than 100 days, you’ll have the chance to build on that momentum at CTC 2023 in Phoenix, Arizona.

“More than 85% of our eCourts attendees indicated they found our education content to be directly relevant to their professional growth and development. An even higher number said the speakers at eCourts were top-flight.,” said Jesse Rutledge, NCSC’s Vice President for Public Affairs. “We are excited to hear how courts are using technology to innovate. We are also excited about introducing evolving technologies to new audiences.”

This year, NCSC plans to go even bigger and better during this year’s conference. Registration to attend the September 12 to 14 conference in-person is now open.

What should attendees anticipate at this year’s CTC?

First, exceptional featured speakers who will challenge and inspire you. Dr. Moira Gunn, a leading technology journalist best known as the host of Tech Nation and its regular segment, BioTech Nation, airing on National Public Radio affiliates nationwide, will open the conference on Tuesday morning with keynote remarks. A main thrust of Dr. Gunn’s work—in both tech and biotech—involves unpacking what AI is really doing with all this Big Data, both good and bad. It is also important to know what we should be comfortable with and where we must be vigilant. Dr. Gunn will provide food for thought.

Second, multiple tracks of education programming, each featuring leaders from across the courts imparting ideas, lessons learned—and “can-do” encouragement. Our content will focus on cybersecurity and continuity of operations, digital court transformation, remote justice, data, and innovation, and the future of AI tools. In the coming weeks and months, we will share details about each of these tracks but if you want to learn more now the full conference agenda is available online.

Third, the world’s largest court technology exhibit hall, and a once-a-year chance to meet a wide array of solution providers in one location.

This year’s conference is being built to deliver an exceptional experience for those who can join us in Phoenix, in person. Registration rates will increase on July 1, so we encourage you totake advantage of early bird pricing before June 30. For more information, visit ctc2023.org.
