Dimarie Alicea-Lozada

Dimarie Alicea-Lozada is a Knowledge and Information Services Analyst with the National Center for State Courts (NCSC). Her current work includes research on current events in state courts, drafting articles for Trending Topics, and responding to court technical assistance queries. She also supports working groups for NCSC’s Blueprint for Racial Justice initiative. Dimarie manages the Judicial Salary Survey, a biannual publication that collects state court salary data.

Before joining the NCSC, Dimarie worked in the Puerto Rico Judiciary for almost 15 years as the Deputy Clerk of the Supreme Court, Clerk of the Court of Appeals and Deputy Regional Clerk of Court of First Instance (Trial-level court). She has vast experience in the Clerk’s Office operations, case management and customer service. Dimarie also worked in the Puerto Rico Judges Evaluation Commission as an acting Director.

Dimarie graduated from University of Puerto Rico, School of Law. She also holds a master’s degree in Public Administration and a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the University of Puerto Rico.
